1045 EST We are currently waiting for the lock to fill and a big boy to pass.
This morning we left our slip at 6AM to move to the staging area for transiting the Welland Canal from Lake Erie toLake Ontario. We proceeded past the first bridge, and through the first lock. There are 20 more bridges and 7 more locks before we exit the Welland into Lake Ontario.
The escape pod made me think of Captain Phillips, starring Tom Hanks.
